Savary, chairman of the U.S. Bicen- tennial Committee for the Diocese of Little Rock, recently attended a coordinating planning session in Washington. Diocesan chairmen met with the NCCB Bicentennial Com- mittee to familiarize them- selves with the "Liberty and Justice for All" program, a church-wide consultation on A,nerican life to be held in preparation for the nation's 200th anniversary. HARDY St. Michael's parish here is organizing a Parish Council, it was reported Dec. 3 at meetings of the Altar Society and the Men's Club. Funds for the mission guild of the Altar Society were raised through a recent mini-bazaar at which handcrafted articles were sold. An adults' Christmas party was Greetings from Around the State held Dec. 8. A Christmas party for children is scheduled for this Sunday, Dec. 22. LITTLE ROCK The Third Order of St. Francis will meet this Sunday, Dec. 22, at 2 P.M. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 13th and Jackson.
