ARKANSAS CATHOLIC DECEMBER 8, 1991 PAGE ..... ............ ~!i~ December 8, 1991 Dear Friends in Christ: A rich and beautiful word in our faith tradi- tion is stewardship. That word touches the mind and the heart of those who give; it touches the mind and the heart of those who receive. For many years, both as a bishop and as a priest, I have encouraged stewardship among the people whom I serve. At the same time, I have always wanted to render an account of my stewardship. t The year 1991 is no exception. With this letter, I am pleased to present an account of my stewardship in the areas of diocesan finances, clergy welfare fund and seminary burse fund. I take this opportunity to thank you for your noble spirit of stewardship and I assure you that I will continue to be faithful to stewardship in the years to come. United, we give thanks to God from Whom all blessings flow.
