Participating in a rosary novena for life, Bishop McDonald blesses a rose while praying outside of an abortion clinic in West Little Rock, RI 4t de D D o We were fairly successful get- ting priests to go with us to pray, but we really wanted the bishop to be involved. My first personal contact with the bishop came when I called to ask if he would lead one of the Saturdays. He declined and I thanked him and hung up. But Jody wouldn't take no for an answer. She called the bishop back and convinced him to participate, which he did for the next five years. It was there, at the abortio clinics, praying the rosary with the bishop, that I came to know and understand the depth of his love for life. Not many know or under" stand, unless you've been there, Congratulations on your many years of dedicated service to God's people in Arkansas/ May God rewardyoufor your labors, Bishop McDonald!
