Respect Life Sunday activities include the Mass for Life at the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Little Rock. Last year, in observance of the 25th anniversary of Roe Wade, Catholic youth illustrated the number of estimated abortionS that have occurred. J With a generous gift from an anonymous donor, a large home was purchased in an inner city neighborhood, and Mother Teresa came to Little Rock for its dedica- tion and offered her sisters, the Missionaries of Charity. Since its opening, Bishop McDonald has kept his promise to provide for the spiritual and simple material needs of the sisters. The second accomplishment was that the bishop formed a coali- tion of pro-life organizations with the goal to support one another instead of overlapping or compet" ing. It included Arkansas Right to Life, Birthright, Abba House and the crisis pregnancy centers. TheY all have benefitted from his con " uous encouragement and support.
