Ken Watkins of Hot Springs, CCSA president, said the census was designed to identify men and women who can be helpful when the new Catholic Telecommunications Network of America (CTNA) begins operating in the diocese. As pastors identified professional communicators, CCSA sent each a questionnaire concerning his or her background and qualifications. The CCSA, which has been inactive for several years, has been reactivated with the permission of His Excellency Bishop Andrew J. McDonald. Plans call for establishment of advisory and consultative committees to help guide the expanding radio and television work of the diocese. W. W. O'Donnell, K.S.G., associate director of the diocesan communications department, is collaborating with Watkins in reactivating the CCSA. He said the diocese's new earth station to record video programs off the CTNA satellite will be operating at St. John's Catholic Center, Little Rock, within a month. Paid for by Charles W.
