Supreme Court Justice Ellis J. Staley last night granted, an injunction sought by the State of New York re- straining the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, Inc., and the Kamelia, Inc., its sister organization, from acting and operating as a chartered benevolent fraternal organization in New York State. In granting the injunction, Justice Staley denounced the altera.. tions made by the Klan in its corpor- ation papers as "not only an illegal and unauthorized act but also an im- position and fraud upon the court."
