By Judy Hoelzeman Several high school graduates from Holy Redeemer parish in El Dorado have received college scholarships. Kris Olmstead, daughter of Carol and Gene Olmstead, received the Service League Judith Thompson Memorial Scholar- ship and will attend the University of Mississippi in Oxford next falL Teresa Mulrooney, daughter of Mary and Mike Mulrooney, was awarded an academic scholarship to UCA in Con- way. James Metzelaars will attend South- ern Arkansas University in Magnolia on a four-year Presidential Scholarship. He also received a Certificate of Recogni- tion from the local chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars as an Out- standing Youth. The son of James and Paula Metzelaars, he is now in basic training with the Marine Corps Reserve. Toni Baltazar received an academic scholarship to the University of Arkan- sas at Fayetteville. Her parents are Priscilla and Fabio Baltazar. Michelle Robertson, daughter of Karen and Larry Robertson, was awarded an academic scholarship and the Trustee Workshop Scholarship, both from W, lliam Woods College. Amy Abdetla, also of Holy Redeemer, recently won the 4A State Classifmation in high school women's doubles tennis as well as the State Overall title.
