Fletcher, former Bishop of Little Rock, who ordained all six of the Arkansas jubilarians in May, 1949, will also be in the sanctuary. Pather John J. COMMENDATION, CONGRATULATIONS, BLESSINGS: Spring has a unique joy for us who are priests because most of us were ordained in the month of May or June. He prayed over ii!ii!i them and imparted to them the powers of the Sacred Priesthood. He commissioned them to bring the Glad Tidings of salvation to the people of the state of Arkansas. ARKANSAS  LO U I S IANA L'AI GAS COMPANY l,mlJ Out-of-state members of the seminary's 1949 ordination class who have indicated they will attend are Father James A. Boyle and Father Joseph M. Thomas, both of Fort Worth, Texas, and Father Joseph P. Abele of Grand Island. A dinner for Bishops and priests will be served at St. John's following the May 9 Mass. The Alumni Association's annual meeting will be held at St. John's on Friday, May 10. Father Hilary and Father Placidus will be feted by the Benedictine monks at Subiaco in June, during the community's annual retreat. In addition to the joint celebrations, several local testimonials are planned. Father Beck will offer a Mass of Thanksgivitig in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Benton, at 10:30 A.M. Sunday, May 19, and the parish has arranged an af- ternoon-long reception for the pastor. Father Beck and Father Kettler will be feted jointly in the St. Vincent community on Sunday, May 26. St. Vincent is Father Beck's native town and Father Kettler is pastor there. The two jubilarians will concelebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving at 11 A.M. May 26 in St. Mary's Church. Two testimonials are planned for Father Kordsmeier, one on Sunday, May 26, by his Paragould parishioners, a second in June in Sacred Heart parish, Morrilton, the home parish of Father Kordsmeier's family. An informal reception for Father Tribou has been planned for 2 P.M. Sunday, May 26, at Catholic High School by the school's Parent- Teacher Organization.
