School consultants set calendar, decide issues Little Rock - The diocesan school con- sultants held their annual board meeting recently. In addition to adopting the official calendar for the 1991-92 academic year, they reviewed the contracts to be used during that year. The consultants also discussed child abuse reporting and liability, off-campus permits, driver liability for school-sponsored field trips, and arrival and departure during school hours. These topics were recom- mended by the diocesan Board of Educa- tion for policy revisions and additions. The consultants discussed the August in- service days for principals, and the Profes- sional Day for Educators, set for Sept. 27.
