On Ash Wednesday, Heird will speak on "Giving God our family relationships•" On subsequent Wednesdays, he will cover the topics of devotion, stewardship, prayer life, anxieties, and words and deeds• Developing a true Lenten lifestyle, in which we deal with our humanity, our pride, our selfishness and, rebellion against God, helps us discover who and whater we are," said Dr. Heird. Before his acceptance of the Catholic faith, Dr. Heird was pastor of Baptist churches in Arkansas and Texas.
